Terms of service
What you buy and what you keep
Effective and last updated October 15, 2026
In short (the sections below are what count)
- Price
- $129 once for Personal, $349 once for Pro. Our terms say a one-time license will never be turned into a required monthly subscription. Terms 8
- Hosting
- No monthly hosting bill: covered hosting is $0. Covered hosting is for ordinary business websites, including the built-in menus, shops, bookings and order requests. Large stores with inventory systems, memberships and custom apps may need another solution. Terms 4
- Your domain
- Separate from us: you register it and renew it with any registrar, usually about $10-20 a year. Or use the free address we give you. Terms 4
- If we ever close
- We give reasonable notice when possible, and you already have your website files to put on any web host. Terms 2 and 4
- What you own
- Your words, photos and business details, and the website files you download. Downloads and backups are yours to keep. Terms 3
- Refunds
- 14 days from purchase, on the refund page. Terms 5
- Support
- Email support@webhomestudios.com. We reply by email within one business day. Terms 6
1. Who operates the service
Web Home Studios is an independently operated website-builder and publishing service. Questions and formal notices can be sent to support@webhomestudios.com.
2. The license and plans
Personal is $129 for one active website for the buyer's own business. Pro is $349 and permits website work for clients. Pro lets you create and download as many website projects as you need, plus shared hosting for up to 10 live sites at one time. Creating another downloadable Pro project does not require another Pro purchase. Upgrading from Personal to Pro with the email of an active Personal license costs the difference ($220). The upgrade issues a new Pro license key, and the existing Personal site carries over.
Builds are limited per hour to prevent automated abuse.
You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter a binding agreement, to buy a license.
The one-time license includes ongoing builder access while the service operates. It is not a promise that the hosted builder will operate forever. Downloaded website files and editable project backups remain yours to keep. The website ZIP can be hosted elsewhere; the project backup restores only inside the Web Home Studios builder and is not an independent editor.
3. Your content and website files
You retain ownership of the words, images, logos, business information, and other material you provide. You grant us a limited license to store, process, reproduce, and publish that material only as needed to provide the service. You own the generated website files you download and may move them to another compatible host.
You must have permission to use imported or uploaded material. You may not publish illegal content, malware, deceptive impersonation, intellectual-property infringement, harassment, or material that threatens the service or other people.
Payment links, booking requests, and messages. A “Pay online” button sends visitors to the payment provider you choose. We do not process, hold, or refund those payments and are not a party to those sales. A booking request, including any day or time a visitor picks, is a message to you, not a confirmed appointment, until you confirm it. You are responsible for answering visitors, for the prices, offers, and announcements you publish, and for the goods and services you provide.
Orders and card payments. A website order is a request from your customer to you. If you turn on card payment, your customers pay through your own Stripe account: you have your own agreement with Stripe and are the seller of record. You are responsible for your store policies, sales tax, refunds, disputes and chargebacks, and for following the law and Stripe's restricted-business rules. Ordering and payments may not be used for alcohol, tobacco or vaping products, cannabis or CBD, firearms or ammunition, adult content, gift cards, or other regulated or prohibited goods; we may turn them off for a site that does. We take no fee from your sales.
Generated words are a draft; review them before you publish. You are responsible for claims arising from your content and your sales, and for your website's accessibility, privacy notice and legal notices for your business.
To report material published with the service that infringes your copyright or other rights, write support@webhomestudios.com with the page address, a description of the material and the work or right it affects, and your contact details. We review reports promptly and may remove or disable the material.
Previews we make for businesses that have not yet signed up are offered for review only. Keeping one requires a purchase. Until then the business may not copy, publish or host the preview. Web Home Studios is independent and is not affiliated with any other website builder or host.
4. Hosting and domains
Covered shared hosting has no monthly hosting bill from us. Covered hosting is for ordinary business websites, including the built-in menus, shops, bookings and order requests. Large stores with inventory systems, memberships and custom apps may need another solution. Personal includes one live hosted site and Pro includes 10 live hosted sites at a time. Automated abuse, unusually resource-intensive use, prohibited content, or security threats may be limited or suspended, with notice when practical.
Domain registration and renewal are separate and remain payable to the registrar you choose. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider incidents, security events, and circumstances outside our control can cause temporary outages. If our shared hosting service materially changes or closes, we will provide reasonable notice when possible; your downloadable files are the permanent portability safeguard.
5. Purchases, refunds, and access
Stripe processes payment, sales tax and receipts for license purchases. The self-service refund window is 14 days from purchase. It applies to every license bought on webhomestudios.com, identified by its purchase email and license key. A license bought through a marketplace such as Fiverr is paid and refunded under that marketplace's rules; a marketplace refund or cancellation ends the license the same way. A payment dispute pauses the license until it is resolved. A refund request for a Personal license that has since been upgraded to Pro is reviewed by our support team instead of being processed automatically; the same 14-day window applies. After 14 days, purchases are not refundable except where the law requires. A refund deactivates the license, but website files already downloaded remain yours. You are responsible for protecting the license key and for activity performed with it.
Give $25, get $25: a customer's own link takes $25 off a new purchase made with it (not with a code, a partner link or an upgrade, and not by the link's owner). When that purchase has stayed unrefunded for 15 days, $25 is refunded to the card that paid for the link owner's purchase, up to 4 times per purchase and never more than was paid. A partial refund like this does not change the license. A refunded or disputed purchase earns nothing.
6. Support, suspension, and termination
We aim to answer support messages within one business day. We may suspend access needed to protect customers, comply with law, investigate abuse, or prevent harm. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of workspace data by contacting support@webhomestudios.com. Some payment and security records may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected license. These limits do not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Kansas law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Changes will not turn a covered one-time license into a required monthly subscription.
Read the Privacy policy for details about purchases, backups, publishing, messages, and advertising measurement.
